Iris’s practice focuses on employment and business disputes in both state and federal courts. Prior to joining Dunn DeSantis Walt & Kendrick, Iris practiced as a plaintiffs’ employment attorney. Her background has given Iris a unique perspective when advising clients on various types of employment disputes, including claims for discrimination, harassment, wage and hour issues, leaves of absences, and risk reduction strategies for employee terminations. In addition to working with clients directly, Iris has appeared in both state and federal court, before the California Labor Commissioner and EEOC, as well as in arbitration proceedings involving all types of employment-related claims.

Iris attended Emory University in Atlanta where she received her Juris Doctorate and Master’s in Public Health. During law school, she served as a law clerk for Administrative Law Judge Lana Layton in the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Hearing’s Unit. Throughout law school, Iris interned as a policy and research analyst at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and her work was selected for publication in the Journal of Public Health Management and Practice.
