Adam Yarbrough

Adam has over fifteen years of civil litigation experience. His practice is focused on business and employment disputes in both state and federal courts. Adam has handled a wide variety of commercial matters, including claims for fraud, breach of contract, trade secret misappropriation, defamation, discrimination, and misclassification of workers.

Prior to joining Dunn DeSantis Walt & Kendrick, Adam practiced at another San Diego law firm where he assisted California businesses with a panoply of legal needs, including corporate governance, reviewing and implementing employment policies, drafting and negotiating contracts, and litigation. Through this experience of working with both large and small companies, including family-owned local businesses, Adam gained an appreciation for helping clients in not only an effective, but also an efficient manner.

Representative Matters

• Obtained complete defense judgment in favor of client following trial of claims for alleged unpaid wages and misclassification of workers
• Obtained favorable resolution of claim for misappropriation of trade secrets brought by a major California tech manufacturer against client who formerly headed the company’s research and development department
• Obtained complete defense judgment following trial of claims by a former employee for discrimination and sexual harassment
• Succeeded on claim for defamation on behalf of corporate client resulting in the removal of anonymous online posts
