Biography

Brad is a seasoned business and employment lawyer who represents employers in a wide array of legal matters with a practical, problem-solving approach. For over two decades, he has guided businesses, from Fortune 100 companies to emerging firms and individual executives, through complex legal challenges, blending strategic counseling with strong litigation capabilities.  

As Head of the firm’s Employment Practices Group, Brad provides forward-looking risk management and compliance advice tailored to California’s ever-evolving wage and hour laws. He works closely with clients to develop and refine employee handbooks and workplace policies, ensuring alignment with current legal standards and best practices. He regularly advises employers on wage and hour compliance, employee discipline, internal complaints and workplace investigations, and disability and leave management issues, helping organizations reduce exposure to claims and strengthen their employment practices. 

In addition to preventive counseling, Brad has extensive experience litigating employment-related matters, from individual disputes to complex class actions and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims. His courtroom experience complements his advisory work, enabling clients to navigate disputes efficiently and effectively when litigation arises. 

Brad’s broader practice includes business law and complex commercial litigation. He has represented clients in commercial disputes, consumer class action defense, business torts, and shareholder and partnership issues. He also has deep experience representing regional, national, and international law firms in professional liability litigation and advising healthcare entities on matters involving payor-provider disputes, insurance bad faith, ERISA, the Medicare Act, and California’s Knox-Keene Health Care Service Plan Act. Known for his analytical skills and thorough preparation, Brad brings balanced legal judgment and practical solutions that support both immediate and long-term business goals.
