Dunn DeSantis Walt & Kendrick (DDWK) is pleased to announce that attorney Marie Wright-Travis has joined the firm, bringing more than two decades of diverse legal and leadership experience.

Wright-Travis’ practice focuses on employment, healthcare, business, and general commercial litigation. Her background includes senior in-house and municipal leadership roles, as well as years in private practice representing Fortune 100/500 companies and emerging businesses. She has also served as Director of Legal for a major pharmaceutical company and held executive roles within the City of San Diego’s Public Utilities Department. Earlier in her career, she clerked for the Hon. Irma E. Gonzalez (Ret.), the former Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. Wright-Travis successfully argued before the Fourth District and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeal, resulting in two published decisions.
Wright-Travis earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and her B.A. from UCLA. In addition, she completed a Global Health Leadership certificate program at Harvard Medical School.
