Mr. Townsend is Of Counsel to Dunn DeSantis Walt & Kendrick. He specializes in construction law and complex contract litigation. His practice includes contractor performance disputes, delay claims, contract law, contract interpretation, construction collections, including mechanic’s liens, stop payment notices, payment bonds, and related proceedings, in both California and Arizona. He has assisted design professionals, suppliers, equipment rental companies, contractors and owners with contractual, mechanic’s lien, stop payment notices and payment bond issues, while interacting with bonding companies and lending institutions on private, public, state and federal works projects.

Mr. Townsend has extensive trial and courtroom experience. A former Attorney with the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office, his broad litigation and trial experience allows him to see matters through from start to finish. In addition, he is active in construction industry organizations, and is a member of the California Land Surveyors Association. He also participates regularly with the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).
